When we phoned the help desk, we got someone who had such an accent we couldn't understand her and don't think she could understand well either, because I carefully described my problem and she assured we would get the right thing, but we didn't. We wanted a bean bag WITH the little post on which to mount the GPS. Offering a "beanbag only" makes no sense to me.The item is fine and works well. We got another bean bag ONLY on our re-order. The description in the display is misleading. I suggest you don't even offer this item -- bean bag ONLY.
In fact, the bean bag with the mount is cheaper than the beanbag only. We got the bean bag ONLY and could not mount the GPS. There is no way to get a mount by itself, so why even have this item. We already had a mount that came with the GPS, but we didn't know it was different than the one required for the beanbag. I had to cancel the order and start all over again.Ozzie The required mount is NOT the one that comes with your GPS.

This is excellent because it is not attached to anything. Also our state does not allow the GPS to be attached to the windsheild. We often fly and rent cars. This allows us to bring our GPS along and just sit it on any dash.
Holds GPS when it is in use and easily stores out of sight when it is not needed. Great product.
Placed it on the dash of a Ford Explorer and had no problems driving from Delaware to Indiana and even through the curvy mountain roads of West Virginia. I wondered if this item would be able to properly support the large size and weight of the 7200, but it works like a charm. Bought this for the Garmin 7200 (7-inch screen). The Garmin 7200 comes with the back support that slides into this beanbag and locks.
It sits perfectly, so I can see it with my bi-focal sunglasses and still clearly see the road. It has a locking mechanism at the bottom, which I cannot slide over to lock the mount connection because the Garmin GPS is already wedged so tightly into the beanbag mount; no big deal though.doubt I would use it anyway, I don't see the need since it fits so securely without it. I use it with a Garmin StreetPilot 7200, which is a fairly large, even somewhat clunky GPS with a large 7-inch screen. I have had no problems with it sliding off or tipping. It is a well-made beanbag mount that I think will last a while and I got it for a great price here on Amazon. The screen does vibrate just a bit when going down the road, but nothing major. I have it sitting on the dash of an Armada, inside a slightly crevassed area just to the right of my steering wheel/main console.
